We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. The Michele Mitchell Scholarship Foundation works to recognize and support young people in their efforts to pursue higher education and become positive examples in their communities by:

Providing financial assistance to graduating high school students to defray the costs of tuition and other related expenses;

Mentoring and supporting students at all grade levels so that they can continue their educations;

Connecting students with positive role models throughout their communities; and
-
Educating students and the broader community about health risks and steps they can take to protect themselves and their families.

To be eligible for the Michelle Mitchell Scholarship Fund, applicants must meet all of the requirements.

Incomplete applications will not be considered for evaluation.

Applications must have authentic original signatures.

All graduation recipients are required to attend the Michelle Mitchell Scholarship Luncheon

All graduation recipients are required to write an essay and to read that essay at the MMSF luncheon

All graduation recipients must attend Service on the day the checks will be rewarded to them.
